Traditional Fire Cupping

Service Description

It is a therapeutic practice that comes from ancient Chinese medicine and involves the use of glass cups that are applied to the affected areas of the body. The cups create a suction that improves blood flow and oxygenates the tissues, contributing to the release of toxins. It stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation, eliminating fluid retention. It relieves muscle tension and stimulates the release of endorphins. It is highly appreciated for treating painful symptoms caused by cold, humidity or traumatic events, in lymphatic drainage treatments and in the treatment of hypertrophic scars. The cup, by drawing blood to the area where it is applied, is able to improve circulation in strategic points. The technique can be in-dwelling, intermittent or rubbed and is used by sports professionals and others.
